OPEN YOUR MOUTH WITH WISDOM
Are you? Are the following words part of your daily prayer and speech?
What good are you to me?
He never finishes anything?
When are you going to?
I can do better by myself?
Others?
These and many more are a hindrance to the changes we long to see. Here's how the wise man puts it in Proverbs 31: 26
"She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness."
Do you watch over the well being of your spouse and household or are you critical and uses statements that will cause him to fail? Are you saying thins like...?
You will get a stroke or...when he makes bad food choices or habits?
You gonna bankrupt us?
You'll be dead by the time you.....?
Why can't you be like....husband?
I am not doing your job for you?
Refuse to get up and help when you can?
Are you laid back and lazy?
Wisdom from the man of wisdom states in Proverbs 31:27
"She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness."
It may be challenging as you look around the house and see the many projects and task that he has started and that are still incomplete. T
here maybe the unwise investments that once was a good idea, but he has not been touched them in a while or still wrapped up in the package it came in (the car he bought or other items that he would fix and sell, the electrical, plumbing or painting...., the plans to get a home, car or other purchases, the savings for the vacation or post honeymoon, the ring, dress, furniture, extra room or bathroom, cleaning of the garage, landscaping and other "I Owe You" and things on the honey to do list)..... Pray earnestly today:
TODAY'S PRAYER - (Revive Your Heart by Nancy Leigh DeMoss)
Pray that your husband will discover and live his God-given purpose. Pray that he will offer all his dreams to the Lord, and pursue only those goals that will bring God glory and count for eternity. (Jer. 29:11; 1 Cor. 10:31)
Pray as you watch out for those witty inventions and influenced by others goals that compromise his faith and you cause you to lose your home or need a loan or other means to settle.
TODAY'S FOCUS: IT'S TIME FOR A NEW STRATEGY
