IT'S A TRUST ISSUE

 A CHARACTER TRAIT

Many people today are hurt and face challenges because of trust issues.
Trust is a valued character trait that is often lacking in our world today, especially trust in God.  This is a character trait that is of very needed in every area of life, and it must be strengthened daily with prayer and the word.  If not it life can become unbearable and survival stifled.

It's easy to trust God when things are going well, and all answers to prayers and the desires of your heart are evident.  However, when the weight of life's circumstances clouds the view of God's goodness and favor many begin to have trust issues.

Are you in a place where you are beginning to lose your trust in God?
Perhaps it is that pain that won't go away, the bill that you cannot pay, the trouble that you are facing or other circumstances along the way that may have caused your lack of trust.

Take God at His word.  If you know Him, put your trust in Him. He has never forsaken those that trust him.  Psalms 9:10

If you trust in His mercy, your heart will rejoice.  Psalm 13:5

When you trust God, you will not be afraid of evil tidings.  Psalm 112:7

You can develop your trust by reading the word.  Romans 10:17

You will abound in hope when you trust God.  Romans 15:13

While others trust in people and things that are tangible, you can trust in God not just for your salvation but with every need and area of your life.  He has been faithful in the past and will be faithful to all those who put their trust in Him.

TODAY'S FOCUS - GOD'S WORD IS UNCHANGING

You can take God at His word and trust in His word, because His word is truth and will stand forever.   You can commit every detail of your life to Him for He has good plans for you.

Proverbs 30:5 (KJV)
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Isaiah 40:8(KJV)
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

There are many accounts in scripture where God spoke and it came to pass. There are many promises that have been fulfilled.  The same holds true to all those who accept Him by faith through Christ Jesus. Knowing this, it is important to put your trust and hope in God.  He rewards the faithful and is near to all those who trust in Him.

Remember, your trust should be in God and His word and not in anything or anyone. He is unchangeable and will not lie, but will keep His covenant throughout all generations.  Build your trust by reading the word of God.  As you read and apply the word, you will be equipped to face the challenging times and experience the manifestation of His promises.

God Bless and Keep the Faith!
