SQUATTERS

Squatters are people who unlawfully occupy an uninhabited building or unused land.  They have no legal to the land or building they occupy.  They are on the property illegally.  

Squatters are deliberate and infringes without permission.  They can create much difficulty and stress, not just for the owners but on their heirs and successors. 

Squatters can also become an infestation.  One squatter invades a property, and then brings on their family.  Once that place becomes inhabited, others may follow and soon it becomes a full community.  They also have successors and can cause an epidemic of squatters.

Squatters can damage or reconstruct your property if it's a building. They can erect walls and prevent you from having entry or control.  They can even take claim to your property. Do not fear, God will fight for you.

Micah 2:2-3 (KJV)

And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.

It is important to take immediate action if you notice that squatters have taken possession of your property to avoid them making claims, adverse possession under certain laws and statute of limitations.  You must not ignore the threats that squatters present, as it can cause you to lose your property through neglect or laziness. 

As in the natural, so it is in the spiritual.  You can have some illegal settlers that you have allowed to invade your life and possess your spirit.  They can cause severe hurt and damage to your life.  They can become burdensome and prevent you from living the abundant life.  
 

It is time to take a survey of your land and property.  It is important to do a drive by every now and then because squatters take possession of properties that are not well abandoned or not maintained. They scout out for properties that have not activity or light.  Therefore, it is your responsibility to know who is occupying your space and life.  If they have settled they must be evicted. 

 

TODAY'S FOCUS:  IT'S EVICTION TIME 

It's time to take back possession of your land.  Many believers struggle with illegal settlers and squatters who live rent free in their minds and in their hearts.  These are spirits, people and things that have been allowed to manipulate, mess up, control, antagonize, hold you hostage, blackmail, command, rule, live and occupy your minds, body and spirit for many years.  If you have noticed a pattern of behaviors and habits occurring from similar situations, it's time to serve eviction notices. 

Your body is the temple (property) of the Holy Spirit.  No one else should settle and occupy your body, soul and spirit but the Holy Ghost. Just like illegal residents are sent back to their home land and abandoned from reentering the territory, you must evict and send back these oppressive and demonic settlers that want to occupy your time and zap you of your energy.  

Illegal settlers like convenience.  They do not give up without a fight because they have gotten use to the property.  So likewise the devil will not let you go without trying to inflict pain or harm. If the devil and his settlers are infringing on your property is time to clean your house.  Do not give them grounds to stay or return.  Apply the blood of Jesus as you cleanse. 

To evict a squatter, you must get legal advice so you do not affect your rights.  
Let's look to the word of God on how to evict those spiritual squatters. 
Protect yourself - Get dressed in the armor of God 
Don't fight in the flesh - Your weapons are not carnal but might through God
Refuse to be roommates with the enemy - Have no fellowship with darkness
Tear down every idol - Have no other Gods besides the God of heaven
Don't be idle - Use the weapon of prayer and pray without ceasing
Resist the devil - Use the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God
Reclaim your identity - You are a chosen generation
Take command and use your authority

You must be careful.  Close the back door and have tight security, because squatters can come back.  They sometimes don't go too far so they can view the activities after they are evicted.  Renounce and destroy any patterns of sins and addictions from your bloodline so they do not go on to your children and future.  Finally build new, build to last, using every area and leaving no room for illegal settlers. 

Remember, squatters are illegal settlers who wants to capture you and posses your property.  Do not give them access but maintain yourself by the word and much prayer.  Do not get wounded, dress appropriately.  Close all open doors and be fully protected.  Remove and discard any superstitious routines or habits. Guard every inch of your property.  Look out for patterns that you have inherited and evict immediately. Know your rights and use your authority.
