FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT GUIDE

Even if your wife is the financial manger, you SHOULD take the responsibility of the finances- at least know about it!

Now that you have prepared your Monthly Income and Expenses form, it's time to do your budget. You will prepare it with the figures you have included for March 1st and then you will keep a track for March for an actual budget in April.

Your budget is your compass to guide you into Financial Management. 

As the man/husband you must be knowledgeable and engaged in your budget.  Your information on your income and expenses will be needed to complete 

TODAY'S ACTIVITY- THE BUDGET

For your activity today you will prepare your family's budget for April. (Remember, if your wife is the financial manager, let her do it with you)

SEE BUDGET WORKSHEET ATTACHED
Your figures will come from your Monthly Income and Expenses Form.

There are three columns - Budgeted - Actual - Difference
Total all the income and expenses in each category and record the amount under the budgeted column of your budget worksheet. Complete the entire Budgeted section.

You will get the instruction for the Actual and Difference section in tomorrow's challenge!

You can group some of the expenses in similar category.

Caution: Give the FULL details. Don't try to match your expenses with your income.  Tell the truth in Me, Myself & I, and if you have any vice or secret income or expense!  

Remember, MARRIAGE IS A TEAM EFFORT-COMMON PURPOSE!

Don't be discouraged if she doesn't receive it at first or perhaps question your motive. Just do it- Get it Together First!
