FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT - PREPARATION

For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

Even if your wife is the financial manger, you SHOULD take the responsibility of the finances- at least know about it!

Trust that you are now more aware of your financial status and know your net worth!

Moving on to financial management you must prepare and know your income and expenses. You may want to go to Finances 1 & 2 to do this session.

TODAY'S ACTIVITY- GETTING IT TOGETHER

Your activity today will cause you to compare your monthly income with your expenses to be able to manage your finances.
(You may use the attached form from Crown Management for your reference.)

List your gross income less your mandatory deductible (do not include debts). Next you will enter your monthly expenses.  If you have expenses that you pay annually divide them by 12 and list it.  If you have a debt that is not listed, place it in other. 

INCLUDE EVERYTHING, then deduct your monthly expenses from your spendable income!

Caution: Don't cushion or shortchange your income/expenses- So you could get a true picture! Don't hide behind the numbers!

Remember,  MARRIAGE IS A TEAM EFFORT-COMMON PURPOSE!

Don't be discouraged if she doesn't receive it at first or perhaps question your motive. Just do it- Get it Together First!
