A MEEK AND QUIET SPIRIT
The Sword of The Spirit equips the Spirit Filled Wife to be meek and quiet. This shows that she trust God. She is not loud or perturbed. She understands how to find rest in God and the word.
Isaiah 30:15 (KJV)
For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
This scripture denotes that her confidence is her strength so she does not have to use her former knives.
That also allows God to supply the Spirit filled wife with all her needs including wining her husband's heart.
TODAY'S FOCUS: TRUST BUILDERS
Wives are taught today by society to become cold and hard when faced with tough situations. As we discussed in our previous series, threaten and defend themselves in any way necessary. After reading the above scripture and see that her strength is in quietness and in confidence, let's discuss.....
- How can a wife show confidence?
- How can she display a quiet spirit? (Does that mean she must be mute) Explain?
- How can she display the qualities of a trust builder?
- What strength can be gained as a trust builder and in having a meek and quiet spirit?
GOD BLESS AND ALWAYS KEEP THE FAITH!
Virtuous Jewel
A wife can display a quite spirit by resting in the faithfulness of God.Knowing that it is gentle and quiet; it is not stirred up with worry and anxiety. This gentle and quiet spirit is a calm, peaceful spirit. Does she have to be mute? No, because it only make matters worst.I think this is an awesome series in wining her husband's heart.. No fight fire with fire..
ReplyDeleteGreat comment! In total agreement. Communication is the only way you can communicate what you need to say. Quietness and meekness does not mean mute but a spirit of humility or calm. God Bless you.
