KITCHEN KNIFE WIFE SERIES #4 - CHANGE YOUR APPROACH

DISCRETION AND LOVE

Today's Proverbs Challenge coincides with our Kitchen Knife Wife Series

HOW QUICK ARE YOU TO EXPOSE?

Proverbs 17:9  (KJV)

He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.

If we change our approach towards our husbands, friends and others we will begin to express and demonstrate God's love. But if we are a separator we will use our knives.

TODAY'S FOCUS:  CHANGE YOUR APPORACH

As we look at the picture below do we see knives coming out of our telephone and other private and personal conversation?
  • How do we approach our Husbands?
  • How do we approach our friends
  • Are we quick to cover as we are to repeat a  matter?
But most importantly......
  • How do we approach them?]

As women we are considered fair, virtuous and rare jewels.  BUT...

WE CAN MESS IT UP AND LOSE OUR CROWN IF WE DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT APPROACH!

The wise King Solomon puts it this way....
Proverbs 11:22 (KJV)
As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.

Discretion -
  1. the quality of behaving or speaking in such a way as to avoid causing offense or revealing private information.
"she knew she could rely on his discretion"
    synonyms:circumspection, carefulness, cautionwariness, chariness,guardedness;
  2. 2.
the freedom to decide what should be done in a particular situation.

Remember..... You have a choice and an option to:
  • Use discretion when dealing with mistakes and faults
  • Let your speech be appropriate even when you are upset
  • Behave appropriately
  • Wait for the appropriate timing
God Bless You - Keep The Faith!
