KKW EMPOWERMENT SERIES 3 - ELIMINATE THE KNIFE EFFECT

WHAT CAUSES BLEEDING

THESE ARE THE KNIVES IN THIS WEEK SERIES

CAN YOU TELL

Can you tell the phony wife from the real Deal?
Can you tell Mrs. Jekyll from Mrs Hyde?
Can you tell if she is really loved or a Trophy?

I guess you can, if you spend a long time in their environment and know their circumstances or if you know what they names really mean.  However it's hard sometimes to tell that our words hurt and cut deep down.

You may ask, How is that done?  Here's an analogy.

If you take a plastic knife and keep sawing away in one spot, eventually it will puncture and cause bleeding.

TODAY'S FOCUS: C.U.T.

Based on the above analogy let's discuss the following:
  • How can you as a wife cut your husband without noticing?
  • How can you hurt a friend?
  • How are the damages brought to light?
  • What can you do to stop the bleeding?

REMEMBER...
Proverbs 10:20 KJV
The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.

GOD BLESS AND KEEP THE FAITH!

  1. Pastor Rhymer I don't believe that I can cut my husband and "don't notice". Or hurt the people in our lives especially with our Mouths. Proverbs11 warns us that the WICKED is the hypocrite, unrighteous dealings,a talebearer, contrary in heart vs20,contentious. Lord u said he that finds a wife finds a good thing. So I'm a good thing & a wife before he found me. My heart is open to be a gracious woman,a woman of honor with integrity at home & outside. Upright w/o being labled as another angry black Christian woman. Thk you Lord that we are not cutters but sowers, healers & full of discretion.

  2. Proud of you my sister and woman of integrity that you are able to govern your tongue as James asks. For some it is not that easy because some have made that a way of speech. I agree that Proverbs 11 speaks strongly to the heart of the wicked VS the righteous. However, it appears that the characteristics of the knives must be pointed out in order to identify and be taught that what appears to be the "norm" is a behavior that needs the cure. A look into this week's knives will bring out the truth in many areas.
