RESPECTING THE POWER OF THE sun/SON
Positioning is indeed critical for our plants to survive and grow right.
You cannot put a plant that requires shade in the sun nor can you put a plant that needs sunlight in a shady place. Each must be positioned where it can grow and not where we feel we want them. We stand the risk of losing them if we do not follow the instructions for its type.
For Today's Focus let's talk on Day 9 devotion a little......
It is said...
An experienced gardener appreciates and respects the power of the sun.
An experienced Christian appreciates the power of the Son.
Our scripture reference talks about how to be position well by abiding in the Vine. John 15:4

- Can you remember a time in your faith walk when you didn't want to follow or didn't follow God's directions for "Son Light"?
- What can you encourage someone with today that will help them stay in the "Son Shine"
Remember, when we see our misplaced priorities, our rebellion, and our willfulness, and confess theses sins, His grace welcomes us back into the "Son Shine" again.

I surely need to follow and understand how God positions me. It's for my survival so I can continue to bloom. One of the ways I did not allow the "Son Light" in is knowing when to stay silent and when to speak. It's not everything that needs to be said, and if it needs to be said, I need to make sure it's at the right time where God can get the glory. I encourage someone today to be slow to speak and quick to listen. Listen to God's leading on what to say and do, and when to say and do it. Wherever He decides to position you will make your garden delightful and insightful. Whoever visits your garden will be able to feel, see, and enjoy His presence. This is my heart's desire, so I say let the "Son Shine" in so I can shine wherever I am. I encourage all to do the same.
ReplyDeleteThank You for that insight I have struggle with that lack of "Son Shine" before. Sometimes you think that you speaking to help but it was not the right time especially when you express something your Daddy told you in the secret place. You immediately know it was not to be spoken because of the instant feeling you get and also the acceptance by the individuals. I really love the statement "shine where you are" that you have been drilling and hammering into us. So let the SON SHINE!
ReplyDeleteI would encourage those who want the "Son Shine" to watch who nurtures their plant. My mother often told us that plants can hear and it's important to speak and greet your plant. So I would encourage us to watch who nurture us. Are the people in our company negative complainers and other unhealthy nurtures? Just as the plant thrives on good words we must be nurtured by positive and influential spirit filled individuals to let the "Son Shine". We may need to use our tool box to do some jack hammering or shoveling.
ReplyDeleteWell said my sisters. A wise man once said "we have to be Positioned for Purpose. We have to know when is the right time, right direction, and right way to do what needs to be done. Let Him continue to guide and direct us and we will bear fruits and they will remain.
