DAY 11 - THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH

OUR PRAYER

Psalm 23:2 Thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Today, I encourage you to face your fears, confront your fears and pray them with scripture.

2 Timothy 1:7 King James Version (KJV)
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Listen to my message as you focus on this verse and know that The Lord has triumph over death that you no longer have to live in that bondage.

TODAY'S FOCUS:  WHAT'S YOUR FEAR?

To help you overcome your fear let's do a little homework and exercise.  This will keep your mind occupied and enable you to come up with some spiritual medication for your fears.

  • What are your fears?
    • List your fears
    • Find scriptures in the areas of your fear
    • Confess them over your life
    • Let go your fears to God either by destroying the list or letting them go in your spirit.

Isaiah 41:10

King James Version (KJV)
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
  1. Face your fear - Don't worry if you see the same fear creeping up again. Confront it with a friend or minister and apply the scriptures for that particular fear.
  2. PRAY - Have an active prayer life.
  3. Praise - Keep a positive and thankful spirit.  Fear and praise cannot exist together.
  4. Help Others - Find someone you know who can benefit from this video and exercise and share it with them.
IF GOD BE FOR YOU WHO CAN BE AGAINST YOU!

Remember to have faith and trust God.

  1. Fear is something, a negative energy, that is not of God because God says in 2 Timothy 1:7 for God had not giving us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Halleluyah! Halleluyah! God is a God that wants us to conquer all the fears or fear in our life and the way to do it is to confront it and pray it out of our lives. Thank you Jesus!
Pastor you are directing the brethren and equiping them with the tools that will help them to secure the victory over fear. Keep up the good work Pastor Julie!

    2. Hallelujah!!!! We have all heard it said " the absence of "Faith" is Fear! No GOD has not given us Fear but Faith. Fear says that " God does not exist, nor does HE process the POWER and AUTHORITY that is rightfully HIS. Today, I purpose to live in FAITH!

  2. One thing the enemy fears is God's people stop being ignorant. He knows that whenever we find out that we are REALLY LOOSED, nothing & no one can stop us. That when fear shows up it's ugly head, the Lord told me to go anyway, say it anyway just be of good COURAGE, I will be with you. The word is really saying fear is not part of our lifestyle, it does not belong permanent & I refuse to entertain it. Oh praise
Jesus...just a praise sends fear packing!!!!

  5. Pastor Julie. Daddy never leaves us without ways to escape. Fear sometimes tries to capture our soul with thoughts that can be very frightening, and intimidating. What I love about this part of the verse is: Yea, though I walk THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death, meaning, it is a progressive journey. We are coming out on the other side to safety. It continues: for thou art with me; thy rod and staff they comfort me. DADDY will never give us more than we can bear! HALLELUJAH!!! I am sooooooooooooooo.... encouraged. Be bless Children of God! We will be fine, cause our Father is the MASTER COMMANDER in Chief.
