CALLED INTO FRIENDSHIP
Today many people struggle with friendships, relationships and or fellowship with various individuals, entities or corporations. Some experience the hard reality of working that relationship on their own. For example, you may be given a job and left to figure how things work as you go along, or perhaps engage in a relationship where you have to do all the compromising or fend for yourself. There are times when you may be the one who have to struggle and do the hard work while the other just reaps the benefits and praise. When you answer the call to serve God, you enter into a friendship with His son, Jesus Christ. You are not called to figure things out on your own or to walk alone. The God who has called you is faithful.
1 Corinthians 1:9 (KJV)
God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Has God called you but you feel like you are just going around in circles and just can't seem to get it together?
If you know that He has but yet feel like you are sabotaged, unsettled and challenged even in your walk, you may be under attack.TODAY'S FOCUS: GOD'S PROMISE TO GUARD THE CALLED
You are a direct target for the enemy when you are called into fellowship with Christ. However, God has made you a promise:
2 Thessalonians 3:3 (KJV)
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
- He is faithful - He will never leave you to defend yourself and will keep His promise.
- He will establish you - He will make you strong and give you the strength you need to hold you in fatih.
- He will keep you from evil - He will protect you, guard and watch over you and will preserve you from every kind of satanic/demonic attacks.
Isaiah 54:(KJV)
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
In what areas are you experiencing attacks from the evil one?
Make a list of them, (ie... finances, health, family, job, ministry etc..) As you list them look up the scripture promises that the Lord has for your deliverance/victory in these areas. Confess these promises continuously with thanksgiving.
Remember, it's your heritage and your blessing to be protected from all tricks, attacks and plans to destroy you from the evil one. You are assured of the faithfulness of God. He has called you into a wonderful friendship and you can enjoy all the benefits with His son Jesus Christ. He will never take back His word to guard, protect and defend you whom He hath called. No matter what it looks like or feel like, you can rely on His word and trust in His faithfulness.
God Bless and Keep the Faith!
