HE'S IN THERE WITH YOU
There are times in life that you will have to experience afflictions, hardships and even things that may challenge your faith. Most times our prayers are Lord do not...... But these are the experiences that cause us to experience the healing, protection, favor and results of the faithfulness of God's word.
Read Daniel 3: 24- 27 and view the experience of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego
One might think why couldn't God prevent them from being thrown in? He could have, but aren't you glad that He didn't? If He did we would not have had it to build our faith on.
TODAY'S TOPIC: PERFECTED BY FIRES
A look at the following will give you a few examples of some men of the bible (you can add others that stand out to you) who stood strong in their fires of difficulties:
- Noah: The Flood - He didn't drown
- Three Hebrew Boys: Fiery Furnace - They were not burnt
- Daniel: The Lion's Den - He was not harmed
- Job: Loss and Affliction - He did not die
Let's reflect on these scriptures for a moment ....
1 Peter 4: 12 states that you should not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you.
Romans 8: 28 says that all things work together for good to them that love the Lord and to those who are called to His purpose.
James 1: 3 states that the trying of your faith worketh patience
After reflecting on these and the biblical examples, how do you feel about your own circumstances?
Can you share and write your story so it can be an encouragement to others as the biblical examples?
- What was the experience?
- Did you lose faith through the process?
- What kept you?
- What did you learn through it? (Attributes)
- If you were to experience another would you handle it differently? (How)
- What advise would you give a Noah, Daniel, Hebrew Boy, Job or you another you?
Remember, If you are going through an experience right now, God is always with you even in the midst of your trials. Sometimes He stands on the side because He can trust you with your experience. Sometimes He teaches lessons and wants your attention, but at all times He wants you to trust Him and experience His word. He will bring you through for it's all to His glory.
God Bless you - Keep the Faith!

Wow what a powerful lesson! My experience is based on trusting God even when you see no way out. About 4 years ago my husband was served by the US Marshall a foreclosure notice to evict our home.It was early one monday morning about 8 am, I heard a knock on the door while the kids were still sleeping during summer break. I open the door not expecting the us marshall. We were notified by the court to respond to a foreclosure notice within 20 days. Now as a mom your heart, mind everything seems dull at that moment. There were no joy at that time.I close the door and went straight to my room and prayed. I was sadden at the sitution. I felt discourage and angry with God, I told God you gave us this house, you know we have 9 children dependent on us, where are we going to go? How am I going to look and feel faboulous? At the homeless shelter God !! After praying I pulled my self together and said "Lisa remember the words of david " Never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread" I had to remind my self there's the Good Will to shop from for now. You and your family will still eat and look fantabulous, even through this situation. The holy spirt told me to go to the computer and write back to respond immedietly. Well after a week my husband at that time was working two part time jobs at homedepot and publix to make ends meet. He collected cooper and trash on sundays through different upscale neighborhoods and cash it in to survived. He collected ever motor he could find. Boy, I never knew they were so much money in trash. (alluminum, cooper). We just couldn't afford the mortgage at the time, because the insurance and taxes was just too high and made things even worse. Now at the time our mortgage had esculated, it was up to $1500 a month and his combined income was only 800 per month. Now keep in mind there's 10 dependants including my spouse. (11 of us.)I decided to apply for goverment assistance at that time and thank God we got through. At least we were eating. My husband had gotten lots of offers for work. However, they all required him to work on Saturdays. He turned them down. At that time I don't know what he's thinking, because he kept a lot inside and never complained. He always said " Honey, I just love the way you still treats me" I was constantly encouraging him and reassuring him for better or for worse. This was our worse! One afternoon, his current job right now called him in for an interview, he waited a year before they hired him to work on a temporary salary. After 1 year he got the job as a facility specialist. No weekends no Saturday. His salary went from 600 a month to 62,000 a yr. He has no college degree. He just have God given gifts. We cried and shouted Hallelujah so much when we saw the first pay check. Guess what? His job now pays for him to go to school to become a licensed Air Conditioning Specialist in the state of Fl. He is still enrolled and works full time and goes to school on a part time basis and will completed his course in March of 2015. No expense on our part. We are in our house for 10 years now, about to rent it out. Ain't God good! It takes faith and trusting in the God of Daniel, Noah, the Hebrew boys and Job. I'm here to encourage you to trust God !
ReplyDeleteIt gets better our mortgage was reduced to only 500.00 a month for 30 yr fixed. We are able to save more than we could ever save in our life. Our children experieced the God we serve. So even in the midst of your trials trust God! ps. Sorry for the long post... Love to all,
Lisa Lis Modeste...
