KNOW GOD NO FEAR

NO GOD KNOW FEAR

Many are fearful today because they do not know God, but....
This can be remedied and reversed by knowing God!

Fear has torment! Those who fear hath not made perfect in love!

TODAY FOCUS:  GOD'S PEACE

John 14:27 (KJV)

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Think of the above statements and scripture, ask yourself:
  • Are your fearful or afraid?
  • What are you afraid off?
  • What brings on fear?
  • How can God's peace release you of your fears?
Remember, God's peace and love rids you of all fears - FOR GOD IS LOVE!

God Bless you and keep the faith!

SORRY ENOUGH

Are You Sorry Enough to Repent?

2 Corinthians 7:8-11 (KJV)
For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season. Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

TODAY'S FOCUS:  GODLY SORROW

The scripture above states that godly sorrow worketh repentance, but the sorrow of the world death.  As you reflect on the scripture, let's discuss:

  • Have you been made sorry?
  • Are you sorry enough to repent?
  • From your sorrowful experience what fruits have your Godly sorrow produced?
Remember, godly sorrow results in salvation without regrets!  Ask the Lord to lead you and direct you by the Holy Spirit and enable you in all things to prove yourself innocent.

GOD BLESS AND KEEP THE FAITH!

A WARNING TO THE ELLECT

ARE YOU EASILY DECEIVED?

Matthew 24: 23, 24 (KJV)
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

We have heard of many people who have been destroyed as a result of false prophets and cults under some form of church or organization.   Today many can be identified by their names, but some are disguised under flattering and enticing spiritual names and ministry titles.

Many today follow and run to churches, crusades, conferences etc. that appear to be full of "miracles signs and wonders" but do not know the foundation or power under which they operate.

While there is a hunger in all of us for more, there are those who have "itching ears" and are like rolling stones gathering no moss. (2 Timothy 4: 3)

While I do not object to the supporting of other ministries and people seeking revival and other spiritual motivation for development and growth, I am very concerned for the folks who just run behind every ministry because of the signs and wonders they hear and see.  One day they are here, the next they are there, making financial sacrifices to support and go to conferences and services.  Sometimes they put down their own church and ministry and consider their church boring, old fashion and they need something new.  Some even pay for the signs and wonders under the mask of sowing and planting seeds.  Many times when the history or where the ministry originated from come to light it is too late.

Many are under satanic influences and come under various ministry disguise!

TODAY'S TOPIC:  DO NOT BE DECEIVED

As you reflect and receive insight on the above scripture and statements let's ask:
  1. How well do you know the church or ministry?
  2. Do you know it's founders?
  3. Do you know it's history and background?
  4. Are the credentials validated?  If so by whom?
  5. Are they reputable and stable? (character and known for)
  6. Why they relocated? (If they are new or starting up)
  7. What are their motives?
  8. Who is their God?
  9. From what source is the power and anointing?
  10. What are their practices and principles?
  11. Are they seeking personal benefits, frills and fame?
  12. Do they have compassion for the lost and to build the kingdom of God?
It may not be possible to have the answers to all these if you are invited to a service or to join a ministry, but you must be careful and selective in your eagerness, shifting and wanting after every person that shows some demonstration of powerful signs and wonders.

Please know that there are still many miracle signs and wonders and the powerful anointing still flows from God's men and women today.  Because our God is the same yesterday today and forever and is indeed a miracle working God!

However, be aware and remember the word says, "there are and there shall arise" false prophets and false Christs -  ELECT BEWARE!

Remember, try the spirits whether they are of God or not.  Spend time in prayer and the word.  Sincerely ask God for His Holy Spirit's guidance and seek His will in all things including which ministry you should support and be a part of.

BE NOT DECEIVED!

GOD BLESS - KEEP THE FAITH!

BEAUTIFUL OUTWARD

SCRIBES, PHARISEES, HYPOCRITES

Matthew 23:25-28
King James Version (KJV)
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

TODAY'S FOCUS:  YOUR OUTSIDE REFLECTS THE INSIDE

If Jesus came visiting us after He resurrected what would He say to this generation?
Would a modern version read like this:

WOE UNTO YOU....
  • You have cleaned up your act of your past and may have changed your hair style, clothing, dialect and voice, your old profession, bad habits and make a good impression and comeback in society, but your speech betrays who your really are, the practices and forceful behavior and underlying motives is just a show to seduce and influence others with bribes and threats but you have not been changed from within.
  • Your make up, expensive cologne and well put together design ensemble make up an impressive profile but you have not cleaned behind your ears, scrubbed your heels, cleaned your ears, brushed your teeth, taken the yampee out your eyes or not even literally taken a bath.
  • You are a very pretty face individual but you are very loose, and prostitute your body and life for excessive wants and material wealth.
  • You may be beautiful or tall, dark and handsome but nothing but profanity, criticism, lies, manipulative and enticing words come out of your mouth.
  • Your church buildings are large, great architectural structure and design on the outside, but the anointing is missing; there's no order, love or compassion for the loss, sinful, wrongful doings and self centered pleasures are happening on the inside.
  • Agencies, companies and other organizations that are abusing consumers, taking bribes, exhorting excessive charges and exacting resources of others for services that should be fair or perhaps free.
  • You are born again professed Christians, pastors, ministers and others who are dressed up in godly facade but are filled with hypocrisy, hatred, envy, malice, very judgmental, impartial, disobedient, greed, jealously, faithless, prayer-less, powerless, loveless, unforgiveness and other fleshly and deadly poisons.
  • Professionals, skilled or other regular individuals who are selfish, lack humanitarian consideration, negative mind set, evil thoughts, wickedness and other unpleasant provocative imaginations and motives even when wearing and masking a smile
I am sure you can add more to the list, but all these examples are like what the word said can be compared to a well structured, painted and designed sepulchers, (tomb), but the inside is dead rotten stench.

Like the latest model or a brand new computer which cannot be used efficiently because of a virus that causes it to freeze and sometimes make it ineffective, we must get rid of all these viruses (things) out of our lives that affects us from being effective children of God and as individuals of light and purpose.

Make this a self examination,  reflection and application and ask.......

  • DOES MY OUTSIDE MASK MY INSIDE?
  • WHAT AM I MASKING?

Let me remind you that it is not a self effort or something your can buy,  but it can only be done with the already purchased blood and power of Jesus Christ. HALLELUJAH

ARE YOU PREPARED TO ACCEPT THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION?

Question and Answer

Matthew 22:34-40
But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, wh
ich is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Today are you asking questions to change your ways or are you tempting God?

TODAY'S TOPIC:  The Motive For Your Questions

Most times questions are asked with an ulterior motive.  At times it is to embarrass or expose the individual we are asking the question, find fault or test others.  The answers sometimes comes with some demands and expectations that we are not ready for.  Let's take a look at the following questions and answers:
  1. Rich Young Ruler - (Matthew 19: 16 -22) What good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?   Answer: Keep the commandments.   His comeback statement shows that he was not satisfied with the answer so that when Jesus answered him again and said, go sell that thou hast and give to the poor, he went away sorrowful.
  2. Peter - (Matthew 21: 21-22) How oft shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? till seven times?  Answer: Until seventy times seven
  3. The Disciples - (Mark 9: 28, 29) Why could not we cast him out?  Answer:  This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
  4. Pharisees and Herodians - (Mark 12: 14-17) Is it lawful to pay tribute to Caesar, or not? Answer:  Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.

As you reflect on the above, do you see how hard answers could be to a heart that is not prepared to accept, obey or carry out the answers?

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

  • Are you the Rich Young Ruler who may have your worldly goods as an idol and find it hard to give it up?
  • Are you Peter who may find it hard to forgive in a lifetime much less seventy times seven in a day?
  • Are you the disciples find it hard to press through with prayer and fasting to get your deliverance?
  • Are you like the Pharisees and Herodians question your giving to God in money, time or deed?
  • What other question you may have that the answer may be a hard pill to swallow?
Sometimes like the lawyer even after you are given an answer still question the answer, "who is my neighbor?"

Remember, God requires a heart that is sincere and people that are willing to serve Him in spirit and in truth.  He calls us to be faithful - NOTHING ELSE WOULD DO!
Finally, seek His answers for the truth.

John 8:32 (KJV)And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

OPERATION AND ACTIVITIES IN GODS HOUSE

WHAT'S GOING ON IN GOD'S HOUSE?

Matthew 21:10-13 (KJV)
And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Is the church known in the neighborhood, city or town where it is as the Church of the Living God?  When people ask can it be said that these are the children, prophets, teachers, sons and daughters of God?

Are church activities more than prayer?
  • The church is so busy with a full agenda that prayer is only a declaration and or the benediction.
  • No schedule prayer meeting or prayer vigils
  • Timed and limited prayers
Entertainers instead of worshipers?
  • No longer uses hymns but sing songs with no message, can hardly hear the words because the music is loud and swinging; always uses c/d's, other popular and well known artist to entertain (because it gets more people in attendance for offering time) rather than let people get into worshiping and letting God's glory come down to reign.
Market Place or Highest Bid Campaign?
  • Everything is about money, heavy selling and marketing (not bookstore goods or other resources) of business ideas and other services during church time
  • Forcing people to pledge or give money that they don't have, encouraging credit card debts and other IOU's for their miracle or blessings
  • Favoritism or partiality based on status or other fringe benefits
Is the word compromised?
  • The focus is what pleases the crowd than what the spirit says
  • The comfort of others is more important than actual preaching
  • Afraid to offend because of relationship so some topics are avoided
Are you just a by stander?
  • It doesn't matter to you as long as you are not the one doing it
  • You are afraid to disagree to lose the friendship of the ones in charge or might be labeled as old fashion
  • Waiting for God to consume or destroy and not pray, do or say anything

TODAY'S TOPIC:  Your Home Operation

What about your house?  Can you say like Joshua, "as for me and my house we will serve the Lord? or are you....
  • Guilty in some way of some of the things listed in God's house?
  • Taking a back seat and anything goes?
  • Not a role model so your household can follow
  • Not storing up your treasures up in heaven but have allowed many worldly things to be idols in your home?
  • Being a witness to others by the activities and lifestyle you live?
  • Standing up for what is right and defending the truth with the word?
  • Is the light on in your home showing those in darkness the way to the Light?
Remember, to shine the light of God in your home and wherever you go!  People are looking for the lighthouse in the rough seas of life!

FOLLOWERS

The Blind Men's Reason

Social media, gangs, friends and other societies have followers. The reason for them following may vary but they are committed to follow.

In today's daily reading in Matthew 20: 30-34 we see Jesus performed a great miracle and after they received their sight - they followed Him!

Matthew 20:34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

Another Reason

John 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

TODAY'S TOPIC: WHAT'S YOUR REASON?

Today many people are celebrating the resurrection and speaking of Jesus but....  Are you just an "Easter Sunday" follower?

Reflecting on the blind men story and the multitude of the loaves and fishes miracles why are you a follower?  Lets do some soul searching...
  • You were raised up in church and that's what you are programmed to do even without a relationship with the risen Christ?
  • You were invited to the church and follow because you like the music and people?
  • You enjoy the perks, blessings, and status of being called a follower?
  • You do it as an outlet or something to ease your loneliness, security blanket or avoid being labeled as a heathen etc.?
  • You follow to wear your "holier than thou" outfit to your neighbors or to make others feel unworthy and point out their sins and faults?
  • You live in condemnation and guilt of your past?
  • You live a life of fear, scared and attacked in the mind, thoughts, emotions, body and spirit?
  • You are seeking for love, attention, a spouse or other needs?
  • You just want to set and look like a good example?
  • Others....?
  • You follow Jesus because you truly understand the reason why he died and is risen?  (If you do please write a comment on why you follow Him)
Remember while some of the reasons maybe good, they are not enough outside of a true personal and intimate relationship with Jesus The Risen Savior!

GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP THE FAITH!

He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

He saith, Yes. FILLED WITH MADNESS

SIGNS IN THE MOON

A few days ago everyone was speaking about the blood moon and the wonder in the sky.

Some say it's fulfillment of scripture.

In spite of the signs people still go on their way with "business as usual".

At this time of the year most people become religious and Christ conscious.
To some it is a ritual and others a true conviction.

But do we understand what Jesus had to go through?
Is it enough for us to consider what to do with Him?

TODAY'S FOCUS:  Are You Making People Mad?

Take a look at this scripture

Luke 6:11 (KJV)

11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

While this may not be the exact context of the text let's consider:
Jesus has died that we might live in power and authority  The chapter describes the scribes and pharisees upset at Jesus for doing a few things that they considered unlawful and made them really mad that they communed with one another to contemplate what to do with Him.

I pose a question to you today, in this season of the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and savior are you making people mad?

  • What works of Jesus is demonstrated in your life?
  • What characteristics of Jesus do you display?
  • Are you helping and influencing others positively?
  • Are people considering what to do with you because you are upsetting the order of things around them in a positive way?
  • Is Jesus pleased with how you represent him?
  • Is He just a "Easter Time" Lord?
As you answer the above consider your life in terms of what and why you celebrate this time of the year.  Reflect and journal on what have you done for Him for the past 12 months.

ARE YOU PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS?

Remember to celebrate Him in the true essence of who He is and what He represents.

God Bless and Keep the Faith!

FEAR HAVE TORMENT

FEAR VS LOVE

1 John 4:18 (KJV)

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Fear brings torments
It brings about many ills, diseases, guilt, dread, anxiety and uneasiness.

Perfect Love is in God alone
Those who are in perfect love in God has no fear.
God's love drives away, removes, cast out and destroys fear.
Fear is replaced with God's presence and love

Even in the midst of the circumstances and challenges faced or while you are still in the waiting or holding position you will not be consumed by fear because of that perfect love of God.

TODAY'S FOCUS:  A LOOK AT THE SCRIPTURES

Psalm 27:1-5 (KJV)
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.
For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Having read the above scripture, What is your fear?
  • Dying - He destroyed the one who had the power over death Hebrews 2: 14, 15
  • Old Age - And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. Isaiah 46: 4
  • Economy - have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.  Psalms 35: 25
  • Future - He is with us every where even to the end of the world. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

  • Bad News -  He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. Psalms 112:7

  • Fear itself - Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked when it cometh.  Proverbs 3:25
  • Other -  For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
MAKE A TRADE TODAY!  Give up your fear for God's Love!

Remember, he that feareth is not made perfect in love.

God Bless you and KEEP THE FAITH!

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

LIVING RESURRECTED

ZOMBIE-LIKE EXISTENCE

Does the above describe you?

Today's devotion states that we are living resurrected but still overwhelmed by fears, anxiety and our own turmoils and stress.  We go through the motions of existence but are not existing in the power and authority of our resurrected Lord.
What Can be Done?

TODAY'S FOCUS:  PRACTICE RESURRECTION

  • Put to death the things of your earthly nature
  • Deny yourself
  • Take up your cross
  • Follow Christ
List things that must be put to death from the points above as you reflect on the following scripture.

Colossians 3:5-10

King James Version (KJV)
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Pick one of the above verses and express the benefit as you Practice Resurrection.

Remember,

  1. "Until we put to death whatever belongs to our earthly nature, we will never be able to emerge from our tombs and actually "practice resurrection."  (Lazarus Awakening)
  2. Allow the cross to have its way in you
  3. Follow Christ
